Premiere: Coming Clean new music video ‘Pharmacophobia’

Coming Clean is a 4-piece pop-punk band that first started playing together in 2015, holding their first practices in a gear-ridden 3rd floor bedroom in downtown Toronto. Their energetic brand of pop-punk takes cues from bands like New Found Glory, Knuckle Puck, and Neck Deep, as evidenced by their frenetic drums, fervid guitars, fuzzy bass lines, and vocal hooks that can also be described by an adjective beginning with the letter “f”.

The band has been hard at work on their debut EP, “Dead End // Detour”, which they recorded with Sam Guaiana and Kyle Marchant. The album examines what it’s like to navigate life in your 20s, when nothing’s the way it used to be. A music video for the single, “Pharmacophobia”, was directed by Rob Spadafora in March 2019.

Coming Clean has shared the stage with the likes of Hot Mulligan, Homesafe, and Keep Flying, just to name a few. They’ve also been a part of Blackout Fest in Brantford, ON for the last 2 years, which has featured headliners like Living With Lions, Such Gold, Dead Tired, illScarlet, The Creepshow, and so many more. When the boys aren’t on stage, you can usually find them drinking beers in a public pool and ruining it for everyone else.

Pharmacophobia will be released tomorrow, 19th April!
