We managed to catch up with lead vocalist Erin Donnachie as she talked about the latest EP and more!

So how has the release of your EP Bubble gone down so far?

It’s went down incredibly well so far, better than we could have expected. We’re hoping that the buzz continues and brings us more fans, bigger gigs and better things.

What’s your favourite single on the EP?

Personally my favourite track is “You Said”. It’s a song that I wrote and then me and the boys brought to life in the studio. For me its a bit of a bridge between the old and new Banshee. And I think it’s crying out for a remix!

How has the title track gone down so far?

“Bubble” has went down amazingly! So many people love it and it seems to have gained us a lot of new fans. It was a really fun song to write and record and I think it’s kicked off our campaign in the best possible way.

If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?

Yonaka. I absolutely love the music that they’re producing at the moment, it’s so cool and catchy. Would love to get on a show with them!

If you could play at any venue in the world, where would it be and why?

The Barrowlands in Glasgow, i know I have the option of the whole world but every single gig I’ve been to there has been crazy – and there’s nothing like a Glasgow crowd!

What do you all get up to in your spare time?

In our spare time we all do very normal things. We go to gigs, write music, go out to the pub with our pals and spend time with our other halves.

What’s the live scene like in Scotland at the moment?

There’s a constant live music scene in Glasgow especially and there are so many good bands coming from the city.
You’ve got TRNSMT, Summer Sessions, Tenament Trail every year bringing in big acts and giving up and coming bands a platform to be heard. And amazing venues like The Hydro, King Tuts and the 02 Academy that keeps the music scene alive all year round. It’s a good place to be.
