Madrid alternative rockers Screams on Sunday tackle toxic relationships with ‘Lopsided Heart’

Since their formation 5 years ago, Madrid rockers Screams on Sunday have gone about crafting an emotive and gripping brand of melodic rock, honing influence from across the alternative music spectrum; beefy breakdowns and resonating guitar-work coalescing with an enticing lead vocal and pinpoint melodic injections.

Debut EP Call Reality A Lie dropped in 2014 and paved the way for a growth and development, musically, that manifested itself with the release of breakout single “Behave” in 2016. The young quartet have buoyed their stock with tours across Europe, including London as well as a number of festival appearances to boot.

Screams on Sunday’s new single, “Lopsided Heart” tackles themes of violence and relationship strife, delving honestly and – at times- uncomfortably into the emotional toils of abusive relationships.
