The Xcerts release brand new single ‘Ready To Call’

The XCERTS today release their brand new single ‘Ready To Call’, out on all digital platforms now, ahead of the release of their soon to be released new EP ‘Wildheart Dreaming’ – out March 22nd through Raygun Records.

The brand new ‘Wildheart Dreaming‘ EP is set for release on 22nd March and includes 4 brand new tracks that were written during the “Hold On To Your Heart” sessions but held back for this release. The first single from the EP You Mean Everything, which debuted on the Radio 1 Rock Show in January, now has a video.

“Ready To Call was inspired by a phone call i received late one night a few years ago. The events that took place after said phone call were legitimately movie like and to this day the memory feels wildly surreal. I tried to make sense of it all by writing a song about it, whether or not i found any answers or any sense of closure is still up for debate but we love this song and it features one of my favourite choruses we’ve ever written.” – Murray Macleod, vocals & guitars

Live wise, the band have also just been announced as main support to Busted on their March Arena run, with the dates finishing up at Wembley Arena on March 30th.
“We are so unbelievably psyched to be hitting the road with our friends Busted this month. We’ve been very vocal about wanting to play arenas so the fact we have this opportunity is something we are relishing.” – Murray Macleod

Live wise – late March through til May will see The Xcerts on a UK headline tour. The Glasgow and Dundee dates have now been rescheduled to 3rd and 4th May consecutively. The band will head out playing in arenas with Busted just before that – all dates for all shows currently announced are below.

After these runs, the band will retire to the studio to commence recording of their hugely anticipated 5th Album.
