Rock band, Blakgraz, has just released its latest 3 song EP with the instant classics, Lay Your Love Down, The Truth, and Rest With Me.
This release represents the end of a long hiatus from the band and a surge of new material and live performances.
Since the Blakgraz single, Now Is So Beautiful, hit number 1 on the MP3.com rock charts in 2000, fans from all over have been following the band’s progress.

How has your latest EP gone down so far?
Really great! The songs are being played more than any other music Blakgraz has ever recorded! It’s really exciting right now!
What is your favourite single on the EP?
Tough question! My personal favorite is “Rest with Me.” I love the slinky, slow grind of that song.
What was the best moment recording the EP?
The final mix-downs for each song was the most incredible feeling in the world…that instant when everything clicked together perfectly.
Will you be releasing any other singles this year?
Yes! We’re finishing another song right now called, “I’ve Got a Gal.”
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
Nothing But Thieves! Love their writing and raw edge combined with beautiful melody and powerful performances!
Have you got any tours lined up for 2019?
Not yet, just local shows currently. We’d love to tour the West Coast!!
What do you get up to when you’re not working on music?
Keeping bills paid so we can keep writing and performing. Ha ha! Nothing terribly sexy…yet! Maybe in the future we can offer up juicier tid bits. Right now, it’s all about the music!
