We caught up with the band for an interview!
So how has your latest album/EP gone so far with fans then?
David (guitarist): 1st thank you so much for speaking with us! It means a lot to us! So to answer your question so far it’s been great! We are getting to grow a new audience as well as keep the one we had. We constantly try to grow & get closer to what we are hearing in our heads. Thankful the people are sticking around & growing with us. Plus with change you reach new people & that’s exciting!
Tell us something about the release no one knows?
Troy(singer): Im sure its common, but I doubt anyones knows that we probably have 3-4 versions of every song before we land on something we all dig.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
David: hmmm for me it would probably be joe & Steven from Aerosmith. Their music taught me how to play & write. So for me it would be interesting to see how they do the craft. Plus I would pick their Brain on my favorite songs. But tomorrow I could have a totally different band I would choose. I have too many favorites I look up to.
How has your latest single been received? Can you tell us about the meaning behind the track?
Troy: The latest single has been well received… “Young Hurricane” def brings a different swagger than usual, but honestly the goal is to always bring something slightly different. It is a rocker simply about never giving up which is a pretty universal theme I think.
What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?
David: we have a bunch of dates being booked now. But we are looking forward to getting over to Europe as well as heading back to China & Asia as well as America. We love playing live! That’s the best part of the job!
What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?
Troy: . I use to be super stoked to play the small rock clubs just packed in, and I still do, but man…we have had some amazing opportunities to play large stages, and if I’m honest, nothing compares, so looking forward to getting back to China and doing the large outdoor festivals.
What else can we expect from in 2019?
David: you can expect a lot of new music! As well as some big announcements we can’t talk about yet. But make sure to follow us on all the normal social platforms for the latest news, music & dates.
