THECITYISOURS Release New Video Casket

London’s THECITYISOURS have unleashed their monstrous new single Casket today, in the form of a music video. It drops ahead of the band’s sold out show at London’s Thousand Island this Saturday 3rd November

“The last 12 months have been some of the most challenging in the history of THECITYISOURS. It has taken us on a journey to places we have never before seen within ourselves, far deeper and darker than anything we have previously experienced. We have been lead to a feeling of empathy towards many of our peers and supporters alike. ‘Casket’ addresses the inner battles we have been facing, almost as a plea to find the inner strength to over come our internal demons. Mental health is a subject very close to our hearts and one we feel needs to be spoken about much more openly in modern society. This track lays down a milestone for a new era of this band, with that ideology at the forefront. The gloves are off. We encourage people to join us and witness salvation, together.”
– Mikey Page, guitars

The track follows previous single Veins, and is telling of further things to come from THECITYISOURS.

THECITYISOURS are fresh from their October UK headline tour, and will announce further live dates very soon.
Spawned into being in 2015, THECITYISOURS had a collective vision to create music that was undeniably brutal yet melodic. They released their debut EP Wildfire in 2016, which charted at #1 and #5 in the iTunes Rock and Metal charts respectively. 2017 followed with second EP Hollow Hope and reached the same chart position.

Working from the ground up by booking their own tours and self-releasing records, THECITYISOURS are renowned for their high energy, no holds barred live show. Highlights include support slots for the likes of The Word Alive, Dead By April, Slaves (US) alongside a short run of UK headline dates earlier this year.

“We’ve spent a long time in the shadows of the UK music scene, building almost everything we have achieved to date by ourselves, with the support of our exceptional fan base. We have always been a band that has got our hands dirty and stuck by our incredibly loyal fan base, but we are confident that these songs have just what it takes to pull us onto the next level”
