The Wild Things announce debut album ‘You’re Really Something’

London-based alt-rock four-piece, The Wild Things have announced the release of their debut album ‘You’re Really Something’, and revealed a stream of the title-track from the album.

The 12-track album will be released on 23 November via AWAL. The album was recorded in the basement of a castle in West London, produced by the band’s very own Cam White (bass, vocals), and engineered / mixed by Adrian Hall at London’s Metropolis Studios.

Cam says that the album is all about experience, ‘The feelings of love, and loss, and anger and fucking up, and all the bits in between that people need to go through in order to grow It’s about hate and love, and trying your best to change things for the better”. He admits, “Our inspiration was desperation!’

The single available now to stream, also titled ‘You’re Really Something’, is a catchy melancholic rock hit-in-the-making that mirrors the messiness of real relationships that are worth fighting for.

The Wild Things are fronted by lead singer Sydney Rae White, star of the hit Netflix/BBC show ‘Uncle’ & blockbuster movie ‘American Assassin’. Rob Kendrick (guitar, vocals) describes the band’s style as ‘A lacto-ovarian chanting discourse that takes the veins of electro-reggae-opera and karate chops into the heart o blues-rock-disco-baroque-more-blue.’
