Processed with VSCO with g3 preset

Alternative rock quartet In The Cards recently released their brand new single The Only Thing this week. The video for the single premiered with Punktastic after Already Heard premiered the single stream last month.

The Only Thing is taken from the bands forthcoming EP Eyes Beyond Reflection, self released on the 22nd June 2018. You can check out the single below!

We managed to catch up with the band as they talked about their upcoming EP and more!

So how pumped are you for the release of Eyes Beyond Reflection?

We are beyond excited for the EP to be released and we feel that it is a perfect opportunity for people to get a much more solid idea of what kind of band we are. So far only two singles from the EP have been released, which is not a whole lot of music to listen to. We hope that the release of the full EP will help to further establish our identity within our audience and the industry.

Can you tell us something about the EP no one else knows?

The EP was recorded when there were 5 members in the band…

What’s your favourite track from the EP?

Hollow Hearts – not one of the singles so another reason to check it out.

How has the release of The Only Thing gone down with fans so far?

We have had a very positive reaction for both the song itself and the music video. It’s been great to finally release The Only Thing after having it under wraps for quite a while, so we are thrilled that people are enjoying it.

If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?

Right now we are all loving PVRIS, we are fans of their production and use of electronics in their music which. Maybe the two of us could produce something interesting.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Amy – Busted
Nath – You Me At Six
Dan – Status Quo
Conor – Australian Pink Floyd

What do you get up to in your spare time when not working on music?

Who said we ever stop working on music?

Will you be touring at all this year?

There are plans is the works to hopefully get out and see as many faces as we can this year.
