Lokki – the new solo project of Drew MacFarlane – today releases a new live video for Breathe A Breath Of Me, lifted from his debut EP, Cirrhi, out now through Wolf Tone (The Horrors, Rosie Lowe). Following a recent Slaughtered Lamb headline and ahead of soon-to-be-announced summer festival appearances, Lokki will play London’s Rosemary Branch Theatre on June 8, 2018. Speaking about the track, Lokki says; ‘‘Breathe a Breath Of Me’ is about something we do every minute of every day. There’s a choir in the background, which creates the sense that when we breathe, the world breathes with us.’
Lokki originally emerged earlier this year with startling debut single I Catch You, a contemplative, after-hours track which arrived alongside a video created with Japanese calligraphy artist Akemi Lucas. The new EP draws together this & Breathe A Breath Of Me alongside two new tracks from Lokki, including the gently psychedelic title track.
