Northern Italy’s Bee Bee Sea released their sophomore LP, Sonic Boomerang, last November to praise from NPR, Clash, and more. A high-energy, fuzzed-out mix of garage and psych-rock, it racked up comparisons to acts like Thee Oh Sees and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and earned the band some much-deserved popularity outside of their small, industrial hometown.
Now, as they plan their first-ever US tour for this summer, the band has shared a video for album track This Dog Is The King Of The Losers. Proving that they don’t take themselves too seriously and aren’t afraid to have some fun, the video features the trio jamming out in dog suits, along with clips of some (very cute) real-life pooches. Bee Bee Sea will tour the US leading up to their performance at this year’s Pickathon — their first-annouced show will be at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on July 20th, with more dates TBA soon.
