Powerhouse performers, colossal riffs and primal choruses; two-piece rock band Ghosts Of Men return with I Don’t Feel Right, dropping May 4th.
The last 2 years have seen the duo take to over seventy festival stages and countless UK venues, sign a record deal, release an EP and an album as well as 3 cutting edge music videos, constantly building an army of fans nationwide along the way.
Made up of Peter Clegg and Adam Merchant, the charismatic duo approach every show like it’s their last hour on earth, known for toying with their audiences and whipping them into a frenzy with a sound like an excited hurricane. To promote their upcoming single, Ghosts Of Men will be touring the UK
The music video for I Don’t Feel Right, a call to the dis-illusionati, a slogan for the herded masses was filmed and edited by The Cleveland Agency, assisted by JoLi Studios. For now check out Little Death.
We managed to catch up with Peter and Adam as they talked about their upcoming single and more!
How pumped are you for the release of the music video for I Don’t Feel Right?
We’re currently at about 84 psi, which is dangerous for Ads, as he has a shonky valve. And it’s only set to rise. We thrive on the excitement of new releases.
Can you tell us something about the track no one else knows?
When in the studio, Clegg originally sung the lyrics ‘I can drive the men insane’. Of course, this isn’t true, he can only drive men slightly irritated so we changed them to: ‘It can drive a man insane’.
Will you be releasing an EP/Album on the back of this?
We are set to release a 4-track EP yes. And at least one other video to accompany a single from it.
What tour date are you most looking forward to playing?
I reckon we’d both have to say that we’re most looking forward to: GHOSTS OF MEN ‘I DON’T FEEL RIGHT’ SINGLE/VIDEO RELEASE PARTY @ COSMIC PUFFIN ALL-DAYER – 5TH MAY 2018 – TICKETS AVAILABLE ONLINE
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
We prefer to do our own thing. That is to say, we can’t agree on any. We both have very different musical influences.
Have you got any festivals lined up for this year, and do you prefer playing live venue gigs or at festivals?
We do, we have loads all summer long. We’re most excited about Bearded Theory though, headlined by Robert Plant this year. We wanna check out his Big Log.
What do you get up to in your spare time when not working on music?
We work together, making CD’s, Vinyls, T-shirts and band merchandise for the UK music scene. Apart from that, a therapeutic amount of alcoholism and other creative projects.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
