Fat Lip Fest announces 2018 line up

Fat Lip is arguably the south-west’s most notorious alternative pop-punk party, established in 2013 at The Lanes in Bristol, Fat Lip has brought the party to consecutive sold-out crowds every last Saturday of the month.

In the past, Fat Lip has played host to dozens of local bands and alternative DJs from across the country including our good friends from Uprawr, Deadbolt, Team Up, and Discord, as well as special guest DJ sets and visits from the likes of Don Broco, Katie P (Kerrang Radio), Lower Than Atlantis, This Wild Life, Hacktivist, While She Sleeps, Deaf Havana and The Hell.

Fat Lip prides itself of being run for the scene of Bristol. Working with local bands, local designers,other local venues and local businesses to make our nights tailor made for the perfect alternative pop-punk party experience for our customers. We pride ourselves on making our nights the most fun they can be, dedicating them to everyone’s love for the scene, hosting theme nights and working closely with other brands for the mutual benefit of an amazing party!

In June 2016, Fat Lip brought the party to Download Festival, opening up the infamous Doghouse tent on the Wednesday for a welcome party to 4000 happy rockers.

In 2017, the very first Fat Lip Fest was held across 2 venues (3 stages) at The Bierkeller and The Lanes, bringing some incredible talent from the best and the biggest bands in the country.

The lineup included: Young Guns, ROAM, Feed The Rhino, Blood Youth, Devil Sold His Soul, WSTR,As Lions, SHVPES, Holding Absence, Straight Lines, Empire, FOES, When We Were Wolves,Greywind, Grumble Bee, Sweet Little Machine and Luke Rainsford, Dead!, Carcer City,Home Wrecked, High Down, As Flames Rise, All Ears Avow, Beyond Recall, Syren City and Montroze.

In 2018, Fat Lip will be hosting its second festival, following the huge success of Fat Lip Fest 2017.



The lineup confirmed so far includes: Mallory Knox, Black Peaks, Hacktivist, Area 11, New Volume, Carcer City, Tigress, Bad Sign, Homebound, Better Than Never, Beyond Recall, True Heights, Healer, Catch Fire and Kidbrother.
