Live Review: The Hunna at Southampton’s O2 Guildhall

The Hunna

The Hunna performed to a sold out O2 Guildhall Southampton last week and over 1,500 fans as part of their UK tour with Coasts and Night Riots.

Californian band Night Riots kicked off the night and I could honestly say I was very impressed with these. Night Riots played the likes of All of You and Oh My Heart which really kicked off the party and suddenly a lot of the crowd started to jump up and down to their beats.

Night Riots

Lead vocalist Travis Hawley really put everything into the band’s set and during one song, the whole band played the drums with lit up drumsticks in the dark which was incredible to see. They played Contagious, Nothing Personal and Back to Your Love which overall was a treat for all years. These guys will definitely be performing as a headline act at the O2 Guildhall one day as they will sure to bring their electrifying set to the UK again one day.

Next up was Bristol band Coasts who happens to share the same record company as The Hunna. These guys were incredible on the night and deserved their main support place. With the likes of Oceans and Modern Love in their lockers, it was already planned to be one hell of a set and Chris, Liam, James, David and Ben all put in an amazing effort on the night.

Coasts

The Hunna was on last and all their fans started to scream. VALENTINO ?BANDANA DAN ? IK ?
and PRINCE JAMMA all put on one hell of a show for fans and they really connected with everyone. They started off with Summer which really kicked off the night and continued their energy with the likes of Still Got Blood and Piece By Piece. With the crowd still buzzing, The Hunna played She’s Casual later in the set which set off confetti and it was an amazing sight.

They finished on the classic track Bonfire before Y.D.W.I.W.M. and Flickin’ your hair as encores. The Hunna finally finished on Dare, the title track of their upcoming album out on 25th May via High Time Records. It was a great gig overall as fans were left buzzing afterwards,
