For their tenth year celebrations, Boomtown are planning on raising the bar even higher than previous years, and looking to put on a show even more mind blowing than usual:

‘We’re throwing everything we’ve got at Chapter 10! Operationally, creatively and musically we’re planning the most spectacular experience and a culmination of everything we’ve been working towards and have taken on board ever since the Town’s creation back in 2008.’
Boomtown Organisers

As well as the festival tickets going on general release this evening, Boomtown has announced their charity partner for the 2018 event will be local youth charity, Winnall Rock School, who provide free music lessons to young people aged 10 to 17 in local neighbourhoods where there are higher than national average levels of social deprivation.

‘We’re absolutely thrilled and delighted to be chosen as Boomtown’s charity partner for 2018. Donations will all go directly towards our work with disadvantaged young people learning and making music at our studios and also give them the chance to perform at Boomtown and other festivals and venues in the area. Whoop whoop!’
Marilyn Michalowicz – Trustee of Winnall Rock School

Charity plays a big part in Boomtown’s ethos; £116,303 was raised for charity from the 2017 event, with a staggering £32,000 going directly to charities and projects in the local area. The festival also teamed up with a record breaking number of charities including local organisations; Street Reach, Hampshire Air Ambulance, Trinity Winchester, Naomi House, and the South Downs National Park Trust, to name just a few… more information on the charity page here.

This mind-blowing theatrically immersive event will be inviting people from around the globe to join Boomtown’s vibrant community; to create their own characters and wander down the fictional city streets that is brought to life by hundreds of interactive actors, and become part of Chapter 10’s story this summer.
