Band of Skulls Announced for A Peaceful Noise

Hot on the heels of A Peaceful Noise’s first line-up announcement, the Nick Alexander Memorial Trust is very excited to reveal that Band of Skulls will be joining us for a special acoustic set at ULU Live at on November 25th.

Commenting on their appearance, Band of Skulls’ Russel Marsden said: “We met Nick when we toured with the Black Keys in 2012, so we’re honoured to be involved with such a great cause. We’re excited to be playing with a string quartet and to be adding Band of Skulls’ sound to A Peaceful Noise.”

Hailing from Southampton, Band of Skulls have forged a singular path in rock n roll releasing four acclaimed studio albums that have made them a live favourite across the country. For their appearance at a Peaceful Noise, the band will be playing as an acoustic duo featuring Russell Marsden and Emma Richardson, augmented by the lush textures of a string quartet. Adding a touch of highbrow culture and something very special to a line-up that includes Frank Turner and False Heads, Band of Skulls are guaranteed to be unmissable.

Tickets for the live show and our top drawer indie disco More Peaceful Noise featuring a DJ set from the Libertines’ Carl & Gary are already selling like hot cakes, so be sure to grab yours now.
