Loose Tooth are a three piece alternative gruge rock band from the grey midlands of England.
They are hard working that are constantly gigging and describe themselves as light hearted and strange.
Having teamed up with Undead Collective Records, the boys in Loose Tooth hope to spread their sad sounds to further audiences. The band are have just released the music video for Snakebites from the debut self titled mini album that was released through Undead Collective Records. Check out the video below!
We managed to catch up with Adam Cator, Oli Knight and Josh Miller about the new music video and more!
How pumped are you to be releasing your video for Snakebites?
ADAM – We’ve been sitting on the track for like a year pre album release and it always goes down well live, so pretty darn pumped.
Can you tell us about the track?
OLI – The track is basically me moaning about the current state of the unsigned/underground/smalltime/whatever you wanna call it side of the music industry. Bands regurgitating ideas from their mates rather than looking to what came before and applying that to their own experiences and outlooks. Bad promoters, putting on bad shows and all the leeches who sit in the industry making a fast buck off banging bands that work hard.
Can you tell us something about the video no one knows about?
JOSH – It’s filmed where I personally go for a poo 2-3 times a day 5/6 days a week.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
OLI – Sunn 0))) cause we use too many notes, they’re masters of restraint. Pretty sure they’re 2 hour live show usually on consists of three chords and a lot of reverb.
So how has the mini album gone that was released by Undead Collective Records?
OLI – Pretty mint all told, debuted in the Top 100 of the iTunes Rock chart one place above David Bowie, so yeah we’ll have that. The guys at the label have been mega, they’ve just been a huge help and they’re always there if we need advice or whatever going forward. Plus we got to release something we’re all proud of and happy with and to know other people are bang into also is humbling and gives you them warm fuzzies enit.
Will you be writing any more music this year?
ADAM – Always.
JOSH – Only if we see fit to drive ourselves insane.
OLI – Yeah we’re sat on nearly an albums worth of demo material as is, anymore and we’re gunna round the loop.. But inevitably we will write more..
Will you be touring at all this year?
JOSH – Hopefuly
OLI – Yeah there’s some irons in the fire we’re just waiting to hear back on.
If you could play at any venue in the world, where would it be and why?
ADAM – Brixton Academy is like a childhood dream of mine.
OLI – King Tut’s in Glasgow, that place has some serious pedigree, nice to stand on stages where your favourites have been.
JOSH – Koko in London, largely the same reasons as the other two.
What were your first gigs you all went to when you were kids?
JOSH – Roadmender Fri Ups and Soundhaus shows in Northampton, other than that probably Green Day. Adam weren’t you at the first Motley Crue show in like 83/84.. You know when you were like 21?

OLI – Adam is really old. I’ve been going to local shows since I was like 11, I can’t remember any specific first show, there was this one amazing band from Wellingborough where I’m from called Blind Harper and they made a huge impact on me back then. My first gig ticket though is Foo Fighters at Wembley when I was like 15.
