Blank Parody set for new EP

West Midlands alt-rock band Blank Parody are releasing their debut EP A Tenstion on the 18th August 2017.

Following a year of writing and recording the EP has been kept under wraps as the band have teased an array of singles over the past year, tracks such as Dark Pretenders and Marching Through The Smoke gaining national support from fans and critics alike.

The EP, produced by Jim Pinder (Fightstar/Bullet For My Valentine) and mastered by Geoff Pesche (Pulp) at Abbey Road, is an exhilarating exhibition of the band’s ability to combine fuzzy guitars, coarse vocals, frantic drums and cutting lyricism. Taking insanely catchy, Britpop inspired melodies and fusing them with a soundscape of slick riffs and bombastic rhythms, Blank Parody are primed and ready to break down the doors of the UK rock scene this year. Following shows at Camden Rocks Festival and Sheffield’s Tramlines the quartet are set to play this year’s Hope and Glory Festival in Liverpool on the 5th August, as well as several Birmingham and London dates to support their debut.
