5 bands to look out for at Fat Lip Fest

Fat Lip Fest takes place this Saturday (29th July) at Bristol’s Bierkeller and will feature some of the biggest up and coming bands in the world of rock. We’ve put together a list of five bands you must check out over the day!

WSTR – 18:30 (Fireball Stage) 20.45 (Acoustic Stage)

Liverpool pop punks WSTR have really been making a name for themselves since the release of their debut album Red, Green or Inbetween being released back in January. With songs such as Lonely Smiles and their first song Graveyard Shift set to get the party going, frontman Sammy Clifford will certainly bring that pop punk feeling to the festival.

Dead! 17:30 (Fireball Stage)

Having played some high profile festivals such as Austria’s Nova Rocks this year, the punk rock quartet is set to bring some serious moshing and crowd surfing to the day. With the likes of the catchy Something More Original and their latest single Up For Ran$om, the party will surely kick off.

Roam 20:45 (Fireball Stage)

Pop punk giants Roam will be a welcome addition to Fat Lip Festival with their latest album Backbone being a massive hit in the alternative music scene. It’s been a busy summer for the band with performances at the likes of 2000 Trees and Truck Festival more recently so it’s likely that these guys will be pumped! With Hopeless Case and their most recent cover of Green Day’s Basket Case, this is looking to be some set.

Feed The Rhino 21:45 (Adnams Stage)

Kent hardcore band Feed The Rhino will certainly bring the heavy element to the festival and they certainly deserve to be headlining a stage. With loud songs such as New Wave and Give Up from their 2014 album The Sorry and the Sound, this quintet is sure to get everyone on their feet for their set.

Young Guns 22:00 (Fireball Stage)

Headlining the Fireball Stage, Young Guns will be the last act of the day before the after party and what a way to end a day full of moshing and crowd surfing. The London quintet are set to light up the room with song such as Bones and Bulletproof and will likely to leave their mark on the festival. With their album Echoes being released in 2016, Young Guns are bigger and better than ever and it will sure to be treat to watch these play on the night.
