LANY Unveil Latest Track From Debut Self-Titled Album

With just days until the release of their highly anticipated self-titled debut album, Zane Lowe premiered LANY’s new track Super Far as his #WorldRecord on Beats 1 today. Super Far showcases what LANY does best, capturing honest and raw lyrics that relate to our everyday lives transporting us to a moment in time where we experience those exact uncertain feelings in a relationship. The track was co-written by Grammy winning songwriter Ryan Tedder and is available as an instant grat when you pre-order the album along with previous tracks including 13, The Breakup, It Was Love, Good Girls and ILYSB. Check out Good Girls below!

Earlier this week, the band released the music video for Good Girls, one of the first tracks to be shared from the record and one that has very fast become a fan favourite. The video hit #1 on Billboard’s + Twitter’s emerging artist charts and landed in the Top 15 Trending Videos in the world on YouTube tying into the release. The video sees lead singer and songwriter Paul Klein pensively striding through neon-lit streets like a man on a mission, with nods to the iconic Bittersweet Symphony video transposed to the murky nocturnal world of Drive.

The band’s highly anticipated 16-track debut album is set for release via Polydor Records on June 30, 2017. The album sees them tap into the trials and tribulations of relationships, feelings of displacement and the endless search for love and a place to call home, very real issues for a band that has been almost constantly on the road for the past two years, playing 135 shows in 2017 in 28 countries alone and 117 in 2016, making them one of the hardest working bands around. The band show no signs of slowing down as they continue to perform numerous summer festivals before headlining their 32-date North American tour this fall.
