’68 reveal new track

'68

American rock duo ’68 are thrilled to share The Workers Are Fewa brand new track which can be streamed HERE. The Workers Are Few is the second single the band has unveiled from their forthcoming full-length album entitled Two Parts ViperThe album will be released this summer on  June 2, 2017 via Cooking Vinyl. Additionally, fans can pre-order the record that instantly comes with both the newest track and their first single ‘This Life Is Old, New, Borrowed And Blue’ via iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and more, HERE.

When asked about ‘The Workers Are Few,’ vocalist/guitarist Josh Scogin said: ‘This was one of the last songs I wrote for the album. Although the lyrics are very negative, this song makes me smile because it is unlike anything I have ever written before.  That’s always a good feeling.  It is very therapeutic.’
Comprising Josh Scogin (The Chariot, Norma Jean) and bandmate, Michael McClellan, ‘68’s forthcoming record is their first for Cooking Vinyl America and channels everything from the intensity of At The Drive-In to Jack White-like vocals to a setup similar to The Black Keys.

‘68 have been praised endlessly for their live performance. Beginning this Friday, fans in the US can catch a glimpse of the irrepressible interplay between Scogin and McClellan. The duo will be hitting the road with longtime friends Every Time I Die and Wage War, making their first stop in Wilmington, DE and wrapping up in Lansing, MI on May 20th. Shortly after, the band will be headlining a US tour withListener beginning May 21st in Garwood, NJ. This is only the first leg of a world tour extending throughout Europe, Russia, the UK, Australia, and Japan which will be announced later in the year. European shows so far include the legendary Roskilde Festival in June. See below for details.
