Stepping out from Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Melodic Post Hardcore Quintet Northwoods have Self Released their debut EP Ebb & Flow, recorded a video for the track Dreams & are currently booking shows throughout the US.

Frontman Zach Brennan, guitarist Anthony Rolli and bassist Jon Ellen have brought together a wide range of influences from Counterparts through to Pink Floyd, in a unique way which stands out over their debut 4 Track EP Ebb & Flow. Piecing together ideas Rolli had been writing for years, the quintet completed by Nacho Martin (guitar) and Kris Brendel (drums), perfected them and each added their own zest which has created that perfect blend of heavy melodic post hardcore with pace and raw emotion.

Opening track 1.1.2011 builds slowly before exploding into life, pulling you into an impassioned vocal performance from Brennan which stand’s out “in a way that people can relate themselves, or feel for”. Times Have Changed blasts through with varying degrees of pace & lyrical reflection, closely followed by the anthemic Dreams. If you’re a fan of emo-tinged melodic post hardcore, with heavy melody laden guitars and passionate vocals, evoking bands like Knuckle Puck, Crooks & Underoath, then you need to check Northwoods out.
