Returning to Rebellion Festival for the first time since 2010 when Gallows whipped up one of the biggest circle-mosh-pits to ever grace the Empress Ballroom, former frontman Frank Carter returns in 2017 with his new band The Rattlesnakes.

‘The fans spoke and we listened,’ says Frank. ‘It’s been a long time coming for my return to Rebellion and I can’t wait!’

Their appearance comes hot on the heels of new album Modern Ruin, released to critical acclaim and high-voltage gigs earlier this year. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes’ appearance is one not to miss at Rebellion this year.

2016 saw Rebellion Festival celebrate its 20th year alongside the 40thanniversary of punk with a spectacular sold-out event. Over four days at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, iconic bands from every aspect of punk across the world shared stages with new and emerging talent. And Rebellion 2017 already looks set to be no different.  Returning to Winter Gardens in Blackpool from  the 3rd to the 6th of August, the line-up is already shaping up to be another punk genre defining event.

Rebellion 2017 sees new ground-breaking bands such as Kent duo Slaves, Evil Blizzard and the aforementioned Mr Carter rubbing shoulders with a legendary line-up that includes the likes of Bad Religion, The Skids, DOA, Alternative TV, Neville Staples Band,  Good Riddance, Scream (who once featured Dave Grohl), Toyah, Richie Ramone, Pennywise,  Leftover Crack, Ruts DC and many many more.
