Keane’s Tom Chaplin set for solo UK tour & release of debut album ‘The Wave’

Tom Chaplin, or as many would know as frontman of Keane, has released his powerful debut solo album ‘The Wave‘ via Island Records. Written by Tom, produced by Matt Hales (Aqualung, Lianne La Havas) and driven by his unmistakeable voice.

The hugely evocative first single, ‘Quicksand’, is one of many album highlights. You can check out the video to ‘Quicksand’ below:

To coincide with release, he will head out on an intimate UK tour, playing 8 shows with his band featuring MD, drummer and programmer Sebastian Sternberg; Rosie Langley on violin, synths and guitar; classically trained pianist and violinist Tobie Tripp; and Beau Holland on guitar, synths and piano. These eagerly anticipated shows are Tom’s first in almost four years.
