We managed to to talk to Gavin about his career highlights, playing in America on TV, fans and more!

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

The highlight would have to be playing in the states with Sam Smith! Amaaaazing experience . I got to play in a lot of the venues I had only dreamt of playing. Also Sam is a bit of a legend !

What’s it like to be playing live on TV in America such as The Late Late Show?

It was great! Completely nerve wrecking. But great ! The first one o was on was James Corden. He’s a lovely lad he had me on twice which was amazing . The Jimmy Kimmel show was something that I was blown away by too. Amazing to get to do it .

What would you say to fans that buy your music and support you at gigs?

Thank you for buying the music and supporting me at gigs .? ha nah it’s really great the crowds that come to the shows . Have met a lot of the fans from Dublin mostly and they’re all lovely !

If you could work with any artist in the world who would it be?

Probably Chris Martin . I think he is one of the greatest writers out there . Hasn’t been a song I’ve heard that I’ve not loved . Also Coldplay have been my favourite band since I was a kid .

You’ve played quite a few festivals – if you could choose one festival to play at, where would it be?

I’d love to go / play to Coachella ! I would definitely suffer with the heat being ginger n all. But I would loove to play there 🙂
