We manage to catch up with Samm before his Victorious Festival appearance on Sunday as talked about James Bay, new music, fans and more!

Are you looking forward to Victorious Festival?
Yes i’m more than looking forward to this, I’ve played at Truck and Y Not (Which are both promoted by the same people) and I’ve enjoyed them all so if this is anything like the other two this would be amazing.
How was it performing alongside James Bay?
James is great! he’s actually become a good friend & advisor, to be around someone who has grown into a major star and he remains so humble is a massive compliment of the man himself!
How has the release of the two EPs ‘The Sound Experiment’ ?
They have both been nerve racking you just never know how the public will take to your music but thankfully both have gone down really well and I’ve been able to do loads of touring off of them,
Is there any plans for a full length album?
I’m currently working on new music at the moment that will eventually become a body of work once i’m happy with it
How much does your fans mean to you?
Fans are one of the main reasons I make music,  I want my music to touch the those who hear it, i’m truly grateful for everyone who takes the time to listen to anything i create,
What has been your proudest moment in your career so far.
I think it would be selling out my first three headline shows, just knowing anyone was willing to part with money to come watch us play was a big deal for me

If you could work with any artist, who would that be?
At the moment probably Chance the Rapper or Chris Stapleton, two very different artists but love and respect what both of them do highly!
