Fake Festivals will bring their showcase of tribute acts at Southampton’s Mayflower Park this Saturday (30th July) as local acts look to impress. The festival bring professional ‘touring-grade’ tribute bands that put on a superb performance. They look, sound and move like the real rock-stars. The day will see tribute acts for Queen (Flash), Oasis (Oasish) and Red Hot Chilli Peppers (Really Red Hot Chilli Peppers.It will also provide talented ‘home-grown’ bands based locally to the festival who get to play support to the amazing ‘fake bands’ during their afternoon showcase. These local acts include The Dead Freights, Sun Circus, The Scheme, Mountain Feet and Davey Jones’ Locker. The festival works hard to ensure the festivals are safe, secure and accessible, with a friendly environment that caters for all ages. Their giant marquee covers any poor weather and there’s a well-stocked licensed bar inside and a food area outside.
