Brightlight City have released their new single Thieves. The single is the second release from the band in 2016 preceded only by You’ve Got Gravity. Once again produced by Matt Hyde they are firmly setting out their stall as ones to watch within the anthemic rock scene. You can listen to the single, out 22nd July, below.
In 2015 they released their Adventures EP, which was produced by Jason Wilson (You Me At Six/Fightstar) and an indicator as to what they were capable of. Thieves displays the refinements and progressions they’ve made in the last year with particular emphasis on heightening the sense of grandeur.It’s also been a year that has seen countless shows including their biggest tour to-datethroughout September, October and November, with a notable show at Canada’s ‘Envol et Macadam’ festival alongside the likes of Rise Against and Millencolin. This summer will see Brightlight City performing at Camden Rocks festival and supporting Max Raptor, Dead! and Bad Sign ahead of a new EP release in September.
