It’s a busy few days for The Now. The South Wales four-piece begin a three-date UK headline run tonight, with Manchester, Cardiff and London on the itinerary, before unveiling their new single ‘Did You Miss Me?’ on 21st September.
The track finds the band in particularly playful territory: eighties-style guitars and synths meet a slick bass groove and one seriously persistent chorus. There’s a big guitar solo waiting near the finish, before the band drop away to vocals and handclaps — a moment that feels made for a packed venue.
The single arrives ahead of The Now’s second album, ‘Moments in Motion’, out 27th October via Trew Music. With five singles already released from the record and recent appearances alongside Madness, Cast, The Beat and The Ordinary Boys, the band are heading into the album release with plenty of momentum.
