The Now Are Finally Ready to Put Moments in Motion

South Wales rockers The Now have announced their second album, Moments in Motion, with the twelve-track record set for release on 27th October via Trew Music. The pre-save is live now.

The announcement comes after a run of singles that have seen the band steadily push their sound somewhere far beyond straightforward rock.

Five tracks from the album are already out: ‘Wild Curse’, ‘Infection’, ‘Breathe’, ‘Something Beautiful’ and ‘Drug’, each offering a different glimpse into what The Now have been building.

From the fate-driven romance of Wild Curse and the deeply personal Breathe, to the heartbreak of Something Beautiful, the self-discovery of Infection and the darker obsession of Drug, the singles have covered plenty of emotional ground. Musically, though, there’s a common thread, groove.

It’s a significant shift from their 2024 debut Too Hot To Handle, and one that the band believe finally captures what The Now is supposed to sound like.

Produced primarily by Alex Vesters and Shane Callaghan, with additional production from Faye Dolle and Charles Hughes, the album was recorded across Summerfield Studios and Real World Studios.

And the timing couldn’t be better. After festival appearances, UK headline shows and recent support for Madness, The Now are heading into the next chapter with their biggest record yet.

Moments in Motion arrives 27th October 2026.

Pre-save the album now and get ready to put The Now in motion.
