Rachael Sage Returns to London with a Heart-Expanding Show Ahead of UK Dates with Wet Wet Wet

There’s something quietly magical about a Rachael Sage show – part confessional, part celebration, and entirely unforgettable. This May, she brings that magic back to London, stepping onto the stage at The Pheasantry for a special, soul-soothing headline performance.

Set for May 10th, the evening feels less like a standard gig and more like an invitation into Sage’s whimsical world. The show offers a first glimpse of Under My Canopy, her upcoming acoustic reimagining of Canopy, an album already steeped in compassion, resilience, and radical optimism.

Expect the familiar, but not as you know it. With a delicate string section adding colourful depth and a dosing of charming, humorous improvisation, this decades-spanning collection of Americana, pop, jazz and folk assures we’re in for a musical treat.

Of course, this one-night-only London appearance is just the beginning of her ascent across the UK.  Days later, Sage joins Wet Wet Wet on their UK tour, bringing her warmth and wit to theatres and town halls, continuing the celebrations for her timeless discography and forthcoming album.

Offstage, Sage’s creativity flows just as freely. Her work with UK LGBTQIA+ charity Rainbow Mind – where she now serves as its first official artist ambassador –  mirrors the same empathy woven throughout her music. Through the ‘Take In The Good’ campaign, a fundraising initiative featuring her own self-designed T-shirt line, she’s helping to create space for joy, connection, and vital support at a time when the community needs it most.

Having shared stages with everyone from Rufus Wainwright to Imelda May, Sage has long existed in her own creative orbit, with her devoted connection to the UK feeling less like a casual tour stop and more like a second homecoming. We’ll certainly be there to mark the joyous occasion.
