Beddy-Byes in Brum

In today’s episode of House and Garden, I bring you Azaleas, they are quite hardy, they can stay outdoors in winter and are a great addition to a mixed border and what’s so brilliant is that they come back every year!
Probably my favourite adopted Brummies, these daisy fresh dudes and a dudette came here from Cheltenham – Oi! no sniggering at the back – nowt wrong with Cheltenham.

The video is fabulous; I love the demented man in the mask giving ‘hell no’ vibes and the approach through the trees that sets the scene and you feel a tightness across your chest.
Click on the website and you discover that the singer has been Re Dacted, adding to the mystery and conspiracy, an enigma he shall remain. He is joined by his equally shady and shifty ruffians, Shay Lipyeat on bass, Leon Haworth on guitar 1, Harrison Wallace on guitar 2 and Matt Joiner on drums, what a rosy bunch they are!

We get the familiar snarling and the furtive sneaking across the screen. The ghostly, shadowy sensations, the anticipatory rapping at the window, which doesn’t materialise but it’s the thought counts. Then at 0.57 arrives the heart of this track as Shay irons out the imperfections, enough to torch your skin to a crisp, yet leave room for the hysteria to bubble to the surface again. Here’s to entertaining your demons and your angels, impossible to have one without the other, as you toss and turn in your sleep.
The track soars and drifts, as it holds you to ransom at the point where your dreams become your nightmares. You’ll find no bright eyes or bushy tails here.

They are the flowers at your funeral, they are the garlands on your grave, and the blooms at your bedside. Clambering and clattering around under your bed and in your head simultaneously, the closet monster cometh.

This has been Azzy Azalea reporting, goodnight, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite.
