Today Queen Anne is excited to release their latest single, “Watch Me Win It,” a sharp, triumphant new track inspired by unlikely victories and last-minute power plays.  The song debuted today at V13 and is available now on BandcampThe track will be on all streaming platforms this Friday for playlist consideration.

Speaking about the track, Queen Anne’s Katie Silverman says:

the inspiration for “Watch Me Win It” came when i had like three victory points in my hand during a game of Catan and nobody had the slightest clue. they all pretty much counted me out because i only had a couple settlements, but then I built a city and turned over my development cards and that was that.

if anyone asks, though, it’s about something really cool. like poker, maybe. or gymnastics.

“Watch Me Win It” follows the release of Queen Anne’s singles “Lexi Loves Me,” “Real Enough” and “Let’s Dance,” a cover of David Bowie’s iconic 1980s hit.

Queen Anne is an American indie-pop duo based in Los Angeles, California, forging a bold musical identity at the intersection of dark, ethereal pop and ‘80s-inflected post-modern edge. At its core are lead singer/songwriter Katie Silverman and veteran writer/producer Sandy Chila.

Launched with their debut single “Real Enough,” Queen Anne immediately garnered attention for its witty, character-driven storytelling and catchy melodic hooks. The track blends sharp emotional insight with a playful narrative motif, turning everyday frustrations into compelling sonic expression, and sets the tone for the band’s artistic voice.

Frontwoman Katie Silverman is an actress on hit television series such as New Girl and PEN15, and in the feature film The Exorcists. Her transition into music with Queen Anne extends her creative reach while deepening the emotional texture of the band’s work.

Following “Real Enough,” their sophomore release, a haunting reinterpretation of David Bowie’s iconic “Let’s Dance,” won acclaim from critics and tastemakers alike for its bold reinvention and atmospheric depth. Reviewers highlighted the duo’s ability to strip the classic track down to its emotional core, transforming it into a cinematic indie-pop statement rich with shadowy textures and evocative vocal delivery, characterized by a brooding acoustic onset and haunting, ethereal tones before building into an expansive cinematic soundscape.

With rising buzz, Queen Anne has been spotlighted on multiple 2026 “Bands To Watch” lists such as Earmilk, 1883 & Galour. Queen Anne’s blending of  introspective songwriting with bold, genre-bending productions marks them as a fresh and exciting voice in contemporary indie music, poised for continued growth and creative impact.
