Interview: Of Mice & Men talk new album ‘Another Miracle’

This Friday, (Nov 14th)  Southern California band Of Mice & Men will release their new album Another Miracle via Century Media Records. Ahead of that they drop ‘Flowers’, the final single ahead of its arrival. The song, a heavy yet hopeful reflection on pain, healing, and inner growth, channels emotional weight into cathartic energy. It speaks to anyone who needs to feel seen and reminded to nurture what still blooms – a perfect song for fans of Of Mice & Men’s introspective metalcore.

We caught up with Of Mice & Men’s drummer Valentino (Tino) Arteaga and lead vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley for an interview as they talked about their new album and more!

How has the release of your music video of single Troubled Water gone down with fans so far?

It seems like they dig it. You know the comments and everything are all positive so yeah it’s always was a cool moment.

It was a cool music video to get to do and we got kind of like getting into that cinematic realm of stuff as opposed to like band in a in a room jamming.

We added some sci-fi elements and doing some more cinematic and theatrical stuff with the music videos so you kind of got a little taste of that as well.

So how much are you looking forward to releasing the album Another Miracle to your fans and the world next month?

That’s the story of of making records, we spent a long time making them and then we spent a long time waiting for them to be released into the world so now this is a a record that we’re super excited to share.

Have you got a favourite song from the album?

That’s really hard to say, ‘Safe & Sounds is a special one for me and I really love Wake Up and Flowers. I mean I don’t know, they all do something for me, it’s hard to pick a favourite, so yeah depends on the mood I guess.

How much are you looking forward to playing Warped Tour in Orlando?

Oh god it’s going to be so much fun. We have so much history with them so it’s just so cool that they’re back and that they’ve asked us to be a part of it and it’s kind of just feels like a massive full circle moment for our band. Growing up that was The Big Festival that we always had every summer as fans and that tour specifically inspired a lot of us to want to get on stage and play in rock bands and play this kind of music. You’d get to go and see all these bands and festivals are amazing for that because you get to see an overwhelming amount of music at all times and I think it’s it’s cool and an important thing for all audiences to get to experience.

So you have a Europe and UK tour coming up, are there any venues or cities you are most looking forward to playing?

All of them to be honest and yeah just getting back over there with new material that we’ve never played before is really exciting. Yeah it’s been some time since we’ve been out there too and played some of these rooms so we’re really excited to get to reconnect with our fans out there.
