Recently, pop singer-songwriter SHAB donated proceeds from her impactful album ‘ONE SUITCASE‘ to refugee charity Choose Love – an initiative supported by global icons such as Harry Styles and Oprah Winfrey. In doing so, she also shared her poignant personal story of fleeing the Iranian Revolution as a young teenager and arriving in New York alone, and has now unveiled a message of hope to her homecountry during this difficult time.
“Know that the world stands with the Persian people, not with the gangster regime,” she declares courageously.
SHAB’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. She left her family behind at a young age, speaking only Farsi, and persevered through hardship – learning English while juggling multiple jobs and attending university. Her determination eventually led her to international stardom as a pop sensation.
