Next-gen rock band Beauty School Dropout have today announced their new album, WHERE DID ALL THE BUTTERFLIES GO?, to be released 5th September 2025. Alongside the announcement, the band unveil new single ‘FEVER’, a hedonistic pop-rock rave. Stream now globally and watch the raucous music video here.
Their boldest move yet, WHERE DID ALL THE BUTTERFLIES GO? started as a batch of self-produced demos, following a year of worldwide touring with the likes of Blink-182, Turnstile, Jxdn, Maggie Lindemann and others. Produced by the legendary Neal Avron (Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, Yellowcard, Linkin Park), the vision will come alive this September — fuelled by live, traditional takes and a raw, visceral edge that packs the party.
On new track ‘FEVER’, the band said: “This was one of the first songs we wrote for the album and it has been the North Star since. Going into this project we simply wanted to create a soundtrack that makes rock music fun and exciting again. Something you could play in the clubs and people will get just as hyped hearing guitars as they do hearing 808’s. For us at least, this is that song.”
‘FEVER’ follows previous boundary-breaking single ‘ON YOUR LIPS’, and together are the first taste of an album that is set to reignite the fun and energy of rock music, with walls of guitars, cutting edge synth production and stadium hooks.
Of ‘ON YOUR LIPS’, they said: “This song is our first big leap into a sound we’ve never harnessed before. It’s experimental, rhythmic, heavy and fun all at the same time. For us it means maturing into our sound and showing we’re not the same kids we were when we started this project 5 years ago. For the fans it’s meant to be a track they put on at parties, late night drives, and all the cinematic moments you wish you had a score for in life.” Watch the striking music video here
The summer, the band will hit the road as part of both the Idobi Radio Summer School tour as well as Warped Tour stops in Washington D.C., Long Beach, and Orlando, and more. Stay tuned for announcements in the UK…
