If there’s anyone who can deliver arena-worthy songwriting with a reflective, heartfelt message, it’s Maddox Jones. So, it’s certainly no surprise that he’s captivated crowds on tour this year with Lucy Spraggan and most recently, Brighton’s iconic new music festival The Great Escape. If you missed out – don’t fear. This summer, he’ll be joining critically-acclaimed singer Rebecca Ferguson for 15 Years: Stripped Back, a string of intimate shows celebrating the star’s biggest hits from her impressive five solo albums.
Jones will perform songs from his most recent release, ‘(Still) Waiting For The World To Turn,’ a vibrant deluxe album full of indie-pop gems. Featuring fan favourite and glowing lead single, ‘21,’ his natural charm, heartfelt melodies, and sense of universal lyricism have made a sparkling impression on audiences – something truly brought to life in his compelling live sets.
As he joins the esteemed Rebecca Ferguson – renowned for her captivating soul-jazz and distinct voice – it’s clear the award-winning songwriter’s rise is only continuing to ascend gracefully. The award-winning songwriter will open three shows on the tour, including The Apex, Bury St Edmunds on 9th June, Warwick Arts Centre, Coventry on the 10th June and Palace Theatre, Southend on 25th June.
