Grammy-winning rock duo The Black Keys have released their new single ‘Babygirl’ via Easy Eye Sound/Warner Records – listen here.
‘Babygirl’ is the second single released from The Black Keys’ upcoming 13th studio album, ‘No Rain, No Flowers’, coming later this year via Easy Eye Sound/Warner Records. ‘No Rain, No Flowers’ is an especially personal project for The Black Keys and sees the band craft its most ambitious and adventurous album yet, braiding together the pair’s sprawling, eclectic musical influences. They’ll continue to bring their revitalized energy to their tour where they pull from their critically acclaimed two-decades deep catalogue.
The track was co-written by The Black Keys along with acclaimed Grammy-award winning songwriter Daniel Tashian and renowned 8x Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Scott Storch.
On how the new single ‘Babygirl’ came together, the band states, “We’d been obsessing over Scott’s prolific output of material online and his overall body of work for years. Getting together with him in the studio and watching him get his hands on our collection of vintage keyboards was awe inspiring. He’s one of the greats.”
