BOOMTOWN 2025 UNVEILS FOUR NEW ACTS + CHAPTER FOUR: POWER OF NOW MESSAGE

Boomtown Festival has announced the chapter messaging in its evolution: the unveiling of the 2025 Chapter Narrative, Power of Now, alongside the addition of four incredible artists to this year’s line-up: Koffee, Kojey Radical, Craig Charles, and Babylon Circus. These new names add even more depth to Boomtown’s immersive experience and already thrilling bill featuring the likes of Maribou State, Sean Paul, Nia Archives, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Azealia Banks and more. Following last year’s Chapter Three narrative, Revolution of Imagination, Boomtown continues to build on the idea of active actualisation. Where imagination sparked a revolution of possibility in 2024, Power of Now invites festival-goers to seize the present moment and make impactful choices, setting the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable adventure. “The future starts now, in the choices you make today” encourages a commitment to live with purpose and presence. This year’s theme is a natural progression from last year’s exploration of creative potential—Power of Now is about taking those ideas and turning them into tangible actions. Whether through your connections, your acts of love, or your courage, every small step matters.Taking place at Winchester’s Matterley Bowl between 6th – 10th August 2025, the award-winning Boomtown is a trailblazing fixture in the global festival calendar, and the new additions only further the festival’s ongoing commitment to curating an eclectic, one-of-a-kind experience. 
Jamaican artist Koffee has been taking the world by storm with her uplifting blend of reggae, dancehall, and contemporary pop. Her Boomtown set will undoubtedly be a high point of the festival, as she brings her vibrant sound and positive message to the stage. An incredible stand-out, her debut EP Rapture won Best Reggae Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2020, making her the youngest person and only woman to be awarded in the Best Reggae Album category. With infectious rhythms and empowering lyrics, Koffee’s music connects deeply with audiences worldwide, and her live performances exude an energy that can only come from a true star.
Kojey Radical is one of the UK’s most innovative and exciting talents, blending rap, jazz, funk, and spoken word into a sound that’s uniquely his own. His raw, powerful storytelling explores themes of self, identity, and social change, making his music both thought-provoking and deeply resonant. Kojey’s electrifying live performances capture the essence of his creative vision, and his set at Boomtown will be one of the festival’s most anticipated moments.
With over 30 years in the business and a beloved presence on BBC 6 Music, Craig Charles has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting DJs around. A true legend of the music world, Craig Charles will return to Boomtown, bringing his signature grooves, infectious energy, and deep passion for rhythm to this summer’s festival. After three decades of electrifying performances, Babylon Circus is preparing to take their final bow in 2025. Known for their high-octane fusion of ska, punk, and reggae, the French band has been a staple of festivals worldwide. Their farewell performance at Boomtown will be an emotional celebration of the music, memories, and connections they’ve created throughout their remarkable career. It’s sure to be an unforgettable and powerful send-off. With over 600 artists still to be announced, Boomtown’s musical programme is shaping up to be a vibrant tapestry of sound, featuring everything from hip-hop and post-punk to reggae, world music, folk, and beyond. With genres spanning drum and bass, techno, house, rock, jungle, disco, and psytrance, the lineup promises a sonic journey like no other.
