‘I’m With You’, is an upbeat, feel-good single that celebrates love and second chances with Ziggy’s signature poetic flair, introducing a playful call-and-response element that brings fresh energy to his sound. Blending folk-pop with Ziggy’s soulful authenticity invites fans to surrender to the magic of love. As Ziggy shares, “Love, in its purest form, has a way of bringing us back to ourselves – this song is about embracing that second chance with open arms, revisiting memories, and coming to a spirited realisation. Sometimes, we overlook what’s right in front of us. It’s not sentimental—it’s a genuinely happy, carefree song, and I love that about it.”
Alongside the single comes an official music video, also released today. Speaking on the theme, Ziggy said “Surfing and music are the balance for my life, it keeps me accountable to pursuing my adventures. Without surfing and without adventure there isn’t that raw, rugged nature and physicality which is so part and parcel to my inspiration. Without surfing and adventure, it is just empty words because a lot of people identify my music and poetry with a sense of adventure.”
Globally, Ziggy’s touring record is as impressive as it is diverse. He has sold out shows across Australia, Europe, North America, Indonesia, Mexico and Japan. This year marks a monumental year for Ziggy with the release of his seventh studio album ‘New Love’, out 21st February 2025, as well as his biggest UK show yet at the Royal Albert Hall.
‘I’m With You’ sets the pace for the final weeks leading up to the forthcoming ‘New Love’ album release, promising a rich journey through honesty, self-discovery, and the beauty of imperfection. Featuring fan favourites like ‘Where Does The Love Go?’, ‘Outlaw’, and the title track ‘New Love’. The album was recorded and co-produced with longtime collaborator Garrett Kato and was crafted for live performance. ‘New Love’ marks a return to simplicity and authenticity, blending folk, rock, and country influences to create a cohesive yet dynamic listening experience.
From humble beginnings busking on the streets of Byron Bay to selling out venues across the globe, Ziggy’s journey has been defined by heartfelt storytelling, tireless touring, and a fiercely independent approach. His 2018 album ‘Laps Around The Sun’ became an incredible breakout moment, and since then, he’s scored numerous highs – multiple ARIA gold and platinum records, sold out tours that criss-cross the world, and even released his own poetry books. The future looks bright for Ziggy, with enraptured fans across the globe.
