Ella Eyre has released her brand new single “domino szn“, which is available now via Play It Again Sam here. The single is the third to be released from the BRIT Award winning artist who is making music as an independent artist for the very first time. It is an ode to the summer which she wrote in just one day and was immediately settled as the next single for release. As the title suggests, the new single see’s everything begin to fall into place, as Ella embraces her new found sense of freedom and artistic fluidity.

Ella said, “Two months ago ‘domino szn’ didn’t exist. This is the quickest write to release I have ever had in my entire career and that is one of the many reasons why I love being an independent artist. This song came about so naturally. It felt so good to write that I couldn’t wait for another summer to pass before sharing it with the world, and I’m so happy I don’t have to! ‘domino szn’ is a metaphor for everyone falling in love – aka the ‘domino effect’. It’s a summer love kind of song I’ve always wanted to write and I’m so excited for it to be out.”

With a career spanning over a decade Ella has enjoyed huge success, having signed her first major record deal at just 16. Rising to prominence after featuring on vocals for Rudimental’s double platinum number one single “Waiting All Night” in 2014 – which later won the BRIT Award for British Single of the Year – Ella went on to win two MOBO Awards, secured two further platinum selling singles and a top 5 album.

“domino szn” follows Ella’s return single “Head In The Ground”, which was featured as Radio 1’s Track of the Week and was lauded by The Times as “a reinvention for the newly independent British pop star.” Ella then premiered her last single, “Ain’t No Love That Blind”, live from the BAFTA TV Awards earlier this year, in a performance that encompassed Ella’s bold new era.
