In what was a fantastic end to Southampton Summer Sessions as Kaiser Chiefs played in front of a packed Guildhall Square with Royel Otis and Spielmann supporting them.
Lead singer Ricky Wilson mentioned that his voice was a bit off with an illness beforehand and stating he had a radio appearance the next morning but that didn’t stop the Leeds band providing hit after hit in front of people of ages.
Having played just over an hour as well as a thrilling encore, Kaiser Chiefs performed the likes of ‘Never Miss a Beat’ as well as ‘Modern Way’ to name just a couple as fans started to warm to up the epic performance.
The brilliant 2005 single ‘Everyday I Love You Less and Less’ then was on show as fans were interacting with the band putting their hands together. Ricky and the band then went on to perform chart topping ‘Ruby’ as well as ‘I Predict a Riot’ where fans sang the verse before the famous chorus.
Kaiser Chiefs finished on Angry Mob before then returning on stage to perform ‘Coming Home’ and ‘Oh My God’ which was a fantastic way to finish the set and Southampton Summer Sessions in general.
