This August, the alternative masses will head en-masse to Blackpool to witness legendary bands such as The Stranglers, Cock Sparrer, Sham 69 and Stiff Little Fingers. The seven stages within the iconic Winter Gardens will host over three hundred bands, plus the Festivlal’s Literary Stage, Punk Art and a few pop-up DJ sets. With so many bands playing over so many stages, clashes are bound to occur, but the decision on who to see and where is yours is best done over a cold beer. The Dead Boys, Death Of Guitar Pop, Sweet, Rhoda Dakar, UK Subs, and The Alarm give you a small taste of what to expect.
