An evening of Queen was well received at the home of Eastleigh FC on Friday evening as hundreds of fans took to the Silverlake Stadium on Friday night for what was an amazing night for all Queen lovers.
The event itself saw an incredible collection of performers from London’s West End, including former stars from the smash hit musical ‘We Will Rock You’, come together to present a fantastic concert celebration of one of the world’s greatest rock bands.
Backed by a phenomenal West End band and featuring dozens of hits from an astonishing back catalogue, this was unique and stunning concert that was certainly helped by the glorious weather that shined down to the stage and fans who were singing and dancing throughout the evening.
An evening of Queen played covers in their own style of the iconic hits such as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ ‘Somebody to Love’, ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ and of course ‘We Are the Champions’ which Eastleigh FC would like to think this of a good omen for the upcoming season.
Overall it was a fantastic event with friendly staff and fantastic value for bar snacks and drinks.
An evening of ABBA was next up the following evening and it’s thought this went down well successfully too.
