We have a brand new song from our musical lord and saviour Jesus Jones, who I remember from the heady Indie days, they bring with them the ‘ Still Smiling’ spirit, whatever ails you, face it with a smile.
Singer Mike Edwards leads his merry band with this glorious wedge of smooth, mellow and distinctively trippy Alt -Rock sound, with a trademark guitar groove that holds the track together, you are taken back to the sounds you know so well. With a whopping 35 years in the music business under their belt, they have absorbed the unmistakable twang of Indie and continue to uphold its integrity and its legacy. A song that instantly enhances your mood, it’s a great way to get some perspective and some clarity.
With a tour scheduled for February, they will support another legendary Indie band, Pop Will Eat Itself, in the land down under and perform their greatest hits. Looking a bit further ahead they will also be crooning over the ocean blue on the 90’s Cruise in 2025, quite literally rocking the boat!
Jesus Jones, with the smile to break your heart, you could say that they are back, actually they never really went away.
