Interview: Arctic Dreams

When did the initial idea for your latest single come together?

Alex_Y: “Ugh… In fact, the creation of our latest release took 12 years.) Why did it take so long? A lot of circumstances went along with it. In short, that’s how long it took to create the idea and the sound concept.”

Sydius: “We saw it in our arctic dreams”

How would you describe the track, to a reader that is unfamiliar with the band?

Alex_Y: “It’s very difficult to do. Let it be: “Hell of a mix of traditional metal styles with classical music and electronic gothic”. And in  general you have to listen, every listener finds something different in our work.” Sydius: “An unstoppable modern hi-tech german locomotive that actually comes on time”

Can you tell us a bit more about the meaning behind the track?

Alex_Y: “Well, we’re talking about the album. There’s a lot of different themes that come out.  Immortality, war, Chernobyl disaster, tracks on the best-selling Jigsaw and Half-Life. So listen to it, I think you’ll be interested. ”

Sydius: “Everybody should think for themselves!”

How would you say that the track compares to anything you’ve done before?

Alex_Y: “As I answered above, we’ve been building our release for 12 years, so we have nothing to compare it to.”

Sydius: “You can’t escape your own background. Unless you’re a genius”

What was the hardest part about putting it together, and why?

Alex_Y: “Coming up with the concept of the album, the tracks themselves and the sound, everything else generally went as it should. Oh, and the vocals were a bit of a challenge until I figured out how to do them.” Sydius: “Always the dull thing: time, management, logistics, finances”

Why should a reader check out the track?

Alex_Y: “The answer is in the third question of this interview)) Every listener finds something different, judging by the feedback we received. ”

Sydius: “This is the best thing you’re going to experience before listening to anything else”

What else can you tell us about the track, that we haven’t covered in this interview?

Alex_Y: “Well, we’ve answered the basic questions. And so, each track has its own story behind it, the telling of which obviously goes beyond the scope of the current interview.”

Sydius: “The guitar was composed while cooking a pumpkin porridge”
