Earlier this year, Yellowcard released their new EP Childhood Eyes shortly after announcing the band’s reunion. One of the standout tracks, and arguably the fan favorite, “Three Minutes More” featuring Vic Fuentes of Pierce The Veil was performed for the very first time at When We Were Young in Las Vegas. As Fuentes surprised the crowd, the performance was filmed for an official music video which was released today.  Watch the video HERE

Yellowcard vocalist Ryan Key shares, “This year has been full of huge moments for us. One of those moments was getting to collaborate with Pierce the Veil on our new EP. When we realized we were both going to be at When We Were Young, we knew we had to perform ‘Three Minutes More’ together. It was such an honor to share the stage with Vic and Tony. We are all so stoked to see how massive their tour is, and to have worked with such amazing people on new music.”

Vic Fuentes previously shared what it was like working with Yellowcard when chatting with Rock Sound and sharing the stage with them at When We Were Young. Check out what Vic had to say here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rt_ZPlWWFT0

addition to the video release, Yellowcard and Equal Vision announced a new tour vinyl variant of Childhood Eyes available. Limited to 1000 pressings, the coke bottle clear variant includes b-side etching of the latest EP. The vinyls are ready to ship and are selling fast.

Despite being released nearly 20 years ago, the single “Ocean Avenue” has continued to be beloved among listeners, having crossed 336M streams on Spotify alone and over 53M views on the official music video. With 4M+ monthly listeners, Yellowcard did not anticipate the warmth from fans and the response to the announcement of the 20th anniversary of Ocean Avenue tour this year. During the height of Yellowcard’s initial popularity they did not experience this type of feedback from fans, performing almost every night to sold out crowds of 5000-7000 fans. Notably, the Los Angeles show sold out in 24 hours, with 6000 tickets sold. Yellowcard was truly missed and now, Yellowcard is back.

Yellowcard was recently announced as a performer at the upcoming iHeartRadio ALTer EGO festival alongside Paramore, The 1975, Thirty Seconds to Mars and more. The show will take place in Los Angeles on January 13th, 2024.
