The Ramona Flowers reveal stripped back version of their track Up All Night

The Ramona Flowers’ reveal their new and stripped back version of their track Up All Night. Listen to Up All Night (Stripped) here

In contrast to the original, which features the legendary Nile Rodgers, the stripped version focuses on a softer sound, with gentle percussion and lighter production, allowing the vocals to soar throughout.

Speaking of the release, The Ramona Flowers said “The original version is a proper dance track, so we really wanted to do a different twist that would highlight the depth of the lyrics and draw attention to the real meaning of the story.

Up All Night featuring Nile Rodgers has become one of the group’s most successful singles and their biggest streaming song ever, with over a million streams combined. The song charted at #25 in the top 40 New Music chart in the US and is now climbing the national charts at alternative radio. Up All Night featured on last year’s 6-track EP, Gotta Get Home

The track has recently been included in the soundtrack for NBA 2K24, which is available to purchase on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam for PC and previous years releases have been a huge success with over 134 million copies sold. NBA 2K24 is also available in four different versions, including Kobe Bryant Edition (Standard), WNBA Edition, Black Mamba Edition, and the 25th Anniversary Edition (not available in Belgium). Other artists who have been included in previous years releases include Drake, Doja Cat, Jack Harlow and Megan Thee Stallion. Following the sync, the song has received even more support on streaming services, including a 400% rise in activity on Shazam and has huge support across key US radio stations.

After recently wrapping up an incredible tour in the US with Barns Courtney, it has been an exciting and busy year for the Bristol four-piece. Their latest EP, Hey You was released earlier this year and included singles, Enter The Room and title track Hey You. They also treated fans to an additional, stand alone single Nothing More To Worry About. The carefree, uplifting song has been used in the global ad campaign for the launch of the Dyson Zone headphones, Dyson’s first wearable purifier, capturing city pollution including gas, allergens and particulate matter and cancelling unwanted noise with advanced noise cancellation and pure, high-fidelity audio.

Known for their live performances, The Ramona Flowers have spent much of 2023 touring, including the UK with Reverend and the Makers as well as a sold out run of shows across the US and EU with Circa Waves. Previously they have also had a 10-date support slot with The Libertines on their Up The Bracket 20th Anniversary tour and performed at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. Following support shows with Muse and Placebo at Firenze Rocks in Italy last summer, the group headlined a sold-out show at Omeara in London.

The Ramona Flowers consists of Steve Bird (vocals), Sam Dyson (guitar), Dave Betts (keyboards/guitar) and Ed Gallimore (drums).
