The Cheap Thrills release ‘Reborn’ live video

The Cheap Thrills have released a new video for their single ‘Reborn’, filmed during their largest headline show to date with a sold out hometown crowd at the O2 Academy in Liverpool earlier this month.

Regarding the show frontman Lewis Pike says, “Hearing over 1000 people sing along to our tunes was a monumental feeling, we’ve built such a strong community in Liverpool, we are dead proud of what we have built independently. It was a really emotional night. Now we are preparing to get out on the road and play our music in new cities, we can’t wait.”

The band commence the rest of their UK headline tour this week playing Southampton Heartbreakers on Friday (21st), The Finsbury in London the following day, Glasgow’s The Flying Duck (29th) and The Social in Hull on May 13th. The band have also been announced to play Bootle Music Festival on June 9th. Full dates and tickets are available here

Fiercely independent, The Cheap Thrills are the epitome of a true DIY success story. With no management or label, the self-made band started releasing their own music in 2015 alongside booking and promoting all their own shows.

The band are on a dizzying upward trajectory and their new song ‘Reborn’ has enjoyed great success with its anthemic indie drawing widespread critical praise. It has achieved support from The Independent, led the Evening Standard to claim it “shows the band is ready to reach new heights”, while also receiving strong support from Steve Lamacq at BBC 6Music and championed as “an instant anthem” by John Kennedy on his Radio X show.

Having soundtracked Liverpool FC’s European kit campaign in 2018 and be awarded ‘Liverpool Band Of The Year Award’ in 2022 by Sound Music Group, The Cheap Thrills have been cemented as the most exciting band to emerge from the city in recent times.
