‘SOMETHING WE ARE OVERCOMING‘ is the latest single from trio DMA’s. Blending moving sentiments with immersive and dynamic trance, this bright and breezy electronic track amounts to claiming ultimate earworm status.
The single is in anticipation of their upcoming fourth album HOW MANY DREAMS? due for release on 31 March 2023 via I OH YOU.
“It started as a moving ballad about perseverance,” the band said, “but quickly morphed into a trancey anthem of a side quest that is slightly but steadily DMA’S. We hope you like it.”
Recent tracks from the album including Radio X Record Of The Year 2022 nominated ‘Everybody’s Saying Thursday’s The Weekend‘ have made the band’s intentions to break down barriers clear.
Combining this with their broad palette of collective influences, this has spurred the band to write their most sprawling and ambitious album to date.
It has been a period of rediscovery for the trio, and the result is a grand record which incorporates every unique fragment of who DMA’s are.
‘SOMETHING WE ARE OVERCOMING‘ is an exhilarating rush twinkling with a nostalgic quality. This track blooms with promise, a true delight delivered from a band at the top of their game.
